Unlike traditional apps, Secret Vault is a zero-knowledge, completely offline application. Your data security and privacy are engineered directly into the architecture of the App.

We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or sensitive information.

No Account Creation: You do not need to create an account or provide an email address to use the App.
No Text or Password Harvesting: All text and categories you enter into the App are encrypted locally on your device. We have no access to your text, categories, or master passwords.
No Analytics or Tracking: The App does not contain third-party analytics trackers, cookies, or behavioral advertising mechanisms.

2. Data Storage and Encryption

All data secured within the App is encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 (Advanced Encryption Standard). This encryption occurs directly on your Android device using the private master password you provide.

CRITICAL SECURITY NOTICE: Because we do not store your data or your master password on any servers, we cannot recover your password or data if you forget it. Your master password never leaves your device. If lost, your data is permanently inaccessible.

3. Third-Party Services

The App does not share your data with any third-party services, cloud providers, or external databases. Your data remains strictly inside the App's isolated local storage on your device.

4. Children's Privacy

Because the App does not collect any personal information whatsoever, it does not knowingly collect or solicit data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App or on our official store listing page. Your continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
